Binance P2P Payout Automation with Bank API Integration

Automated INR payouts for a Binance P2P merchant: bank API payouts via UPI, IMPS, NEFT and RTGS, orders auto-marked paid, chat updates and PAN checks for TDS.

About the client

The client is a high-volume merchant on Binance P2P with the Gold Shield merchant badge. They run buy ads: sellers who want to sell USDT open an order against the ad, and the merchant pays them in Indian rupees (INR) to the seller's UPI ID or bank account.

The problem: manual payouts slowed every order

Each order needed a person to read the amount and the seller's payment details, open the bank portal, make the transfer and then go back to Binance to mark the order as paid. At busy times this created a queue:

  • Sellers waited for their money, and some orders went on hold.
  • Waiting sellers raised appeals, which take time to resolve and can hurt a merchant's standing.
  • Manual entry of amounts and account details carried a real risk of mistakes and double payments.
  • Large payouts also needed the seller's PAN to be checked so that TDS could be deducted correctly.

The brief was simple: when a seller comes to sell USDT, the correct INR amount should go to their account automatically, straight from our bank, and the order should be completed without anyone touching it.

Our solution: Binance P2P connected directly to the bank

We built a payout engine that sits between Binance P2P and the merchant's bank account. Bank credentials and keys stay on our backend behind our own internal APIs, so they are never exposed to browsers or third parties.

How an order flows

  1. Order detected: the system picks up new orders on the merchant's ads through the Binance P2P API and reads the INR amount and the seller's payment details.
  2. Verification checks: before any money moves, the order is checked: status, amount and payment details, and whether a payout for this order already exists. A payment is never initiated twice for the same order.
  3. PAN and TDS: when an order crosses the TDS threshold set by the merchant (₹1 lakh in this setup), the seller's PAN is verified through Cashfree's verification API and the TDS amount is deducted before the payout.
  4. Bank payout: the payment is initiated through IDFC FIRST Bank's API by UPI, IMPS, NEFT or RTGS, depending on the seller's payment details and the amount.
  5. Order completed: once the bank confirms the transfer, the order is marked as paid on Binance automatically.
  6. Seller kept informed: automated messages in the Binance order chat tell the seller what is happening, for example that the payment is being processed and when it has been sent.

What we built

PartWhat it does
Binance P2P integrationReads new orders, marks orders as paid and posts status messages in the order chat
Bank API integrationIDFC FIRST Bank APIs for UPI, IMPS, NEFT and RTGS payouts, with the bank's response tracked for every payment
Payout rules and checksAmount and status validation, and protection against duplicate payouts for the same order
PAN verification and TDSCashfree API PAN check above the configured threshold, with TDS deducted from the payout
Secure internal APIsNode.js and PHP services that keep bank and exchange keys on the server only

Why duplicate-payment protection mattered most

In an automated payout system the most expensive bug is paying the same order twice. Network timeouts, retries and slow bank responses can all trigger a second attempt if the system is careless. We added verification at each step so that an order which already has a payout in progress or completed is not paid again, and the order is only marked paid after the bank confirms the transfer.

The result

  • Sellers are paid without anyone opening the bank portal for each order.
  • Orders move to paid on Binance as soon as the transfer is confirmed, which removes the waiting that used to lead to holds and appeals.
  • Sellers get live updates in the order chat instead of chasing the merchant.
  • PAN checks and TDS deduction happen inside the same flow, not in a separate spreadsheet.
  • The team's time moved from repetitive transfers to handling only the exceptions.

Can this work for your business?

The same approach suits P2P merchants, OTC desks, payment and payout businesses, and any company that pays many people from a bank account after an event in another system. Bank payout APIs usually need a current account and approval from the bank, and we help with the technical side of that onboarding. FAQ

Questions about this project

Can Binance P2P merchant payouts be automated?

Yes. Using the Binance P2P API for orders and a bank payout API for transfers, a system can pay sellers automatically, mark orders as paid and update the order chat. Each merchant's exchange and bank access must be approved for API use.

Which payment modes did the system support?

UPI, IMPS, NEFT and RTGS through IDFC FIRST Bank's API, chosen according to the seller's payment details and the amount.

How do you stop the same order being paid twice?

Every order is verified before a payout starts, and an order that already has a payout in progress or completed is not paid again. The order is marked paid only after the bank confirms the transfer.

How was TDS handled?

Above the threshold set by the merchant, the seller's PAN is verified through Cashfree's verification API and TDS is deducted before the payout. Rates and thresholds should be confirmed with your CA.

Can you integrate a different bank?

Yes, if the bank offers a corporate payout API and approves your account for it. The order and verification logic stays the same; only the bank connector changes.
